Just an update I phoned this morning and was told waffle,I knew I sent in 15 pages extra with the form that included the dr reports as well.Capita said they could not go into the system to see what dr report they had ,and they stated they had only 5 extra A4 papers on the system, they told me to ph dwp which I did they said they would go through it with me and yes they had all I send them and they said Capita where send the whole lot as well,so had to ph back to them. So different person and she confirmed all was in order and all papers where there,so I explained that one of my consultants stated I avoid stressful situations, she said the HP decided after looking at my claim I need a f2f,I explained again my situation and she said he would speak to someone ,so came on the phone and said I would need more medical evidence to state why a f2f would be harming me.( So that would be hard to get) at this stage.

She assured me that they are an independent company and are here to help and make sure that the person claiming PIP gets a fair and decent medical to get the person what they are entitled to.... I think alot of people on this site would tend to disagree with that statement, so I am in limbo land now, dont know what way to turn.

I was looking through your guides on f2f and I may be wrong but does the HP basically fill in a PIP2 form again as the questions are the same as the form, would you have to have your tablets list again. Its a pity you cant answer I refer you to my answers in the PIP2 form for every question he/she askes

The questions at the face2face are not always repeats of the PIP2. The HP will often ask about things such as hobbies, social media use, TV watching to try and get a picture of the claimant's abilities.

Hi,

I gave my mobile number too on application via telephone for PIP application from DLA. They contacted me via text message to confirm the application form was sent out. They also sent a reminder closer to when it was due in. Then I got a text message to say they had received it the same day my reminder had come through. It took me 3 weeks to fill application in & to gather my 35 pieces of evidence. They are a bit slow at sending texts out! My assessment letter came by post, I thought they may have sent a text confirmation too of this but they didn't.

I am asking this question re a f2f,if the medical person asks the question what did you work at and I reply for eg civil servant, and they go on to ask which part of that.I would not want to disclose that,so am wondering how I would get around that, suppose they would think I am well off with a healthy pension (which I am not) I think it is a unfair question as they dont ask you on any of the forms for pip or esa
