I followed the formula in the PIP Guide for each answer.

1. What is the health condition and what are the symptoms that cause you problems
2. Describe the problems you have
3. If you use any aids or appliances, list them
4. If you need physical help, supervision or prompting
5. Say when during the day or night you have problems
5. Say when during the day or night you have problems, how

So for some activities I just had one problem but for others I had multiple an even sometimes more than one for the same condition, for each I followed the above.

Thanks. You have put 2 step 5)'s in your answer. What's the difference?

None, excessive use of the "paste" key.

I finally submitted my PIP2 today which consisted of an index, 26 pages of typed answers to the extra information questions and 9 pages of medical evidence. So similarly to you Gorden my answers were on average 2 pages of typed information per question. Let's hope they read it! Attaching the information to the form was a bit of a challenge!

Well done, I always think that the form is the most difficult part of the process, if not just the physical and mental strain of writing it but it also makes you confront your day to day problems when we don't want to.

Thanks for your advice Gorden. Initially i wondered if my answers were too long especially as I'd got 5 years support group ESA with the only added information being very strong medical evidence and I didn't ATTEND a medical assessment. However as you say we have to play to a best case scenario. I also think if my case ended up at tribunal the detailed answers would help my case - they could hardly argue the way my disabilities limit my activities of daily living and mobility werent clearly outlined in detail in line with the descriptors and reliabillity criteria. Lets hope it doesnt come to that.
