Sheila

You should be able to request a copy of the assessment report later in the week by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim.

We currently expect PIP Decisions to take 2-5 weeks.

Hi Sheila
Sorry you had such a bad time, however all may not be lost.
Neither my wife nor myself submitted any evidence other than prescriptions list with our claims. We were both awarded both components based on the assessment. Even though you think that your assessment didn't go well, from what you have written, assessors are "trained" and should have been able to see how you are affected.
Please don't worry about it or keep thinking on it, there is no more you can do for now. In a few days, as Gordon says, request a copy of the report but until then try and relax and put it out of your head

Update
Received a letter from ESA (there is a change in the money coming in) when I read it it says that
pip daily Living Component for you.
I have had no letter of the decision from PIP that means I was awarded no points for Mobility part
has anyone else had this happen that they learn about the decision via a different route or have I got this completely wrong............I am not upset just wondered
I think it's a miracle that I was awarded any points the way my assessment went lol

Sheila

Congratulations on the award.

The ESA department notify other agencies electronically, whereas the process for producing a Decision Letter is quite tortuous and can easily take 10 or more days, so this can sometimes mean that claimants hear about an award from another agency, for example; a lot of people hear about their PIP award via their Local Authority in regard to Council Tax.

oh I see another question it does not state if its the lower rate or the enhanced rate this might sound strange but I am glad it worked out this way as now I can concentrate on the reconsideration letter i know I can't do much for the living component until I receive the break down but I can start the mobility part I had to giggle to myself the reason I was awarded DLA was due to my mobility how things can change my mobility has gotten worst lol
