Give it a couple of days and then contact Maximus about the home assessment, but be very careful though not to allow your existing appointment to be rearranged unless they agree to a home one.

Thank you Gordon....so sorry about this, I make alot of mistakes these days and worried they'll have the wrong end of the stick as they've now got two letters which arrived separately.... one from my GP and one from me requesting recording the F2F on the original date ....neither without a covering letter from me to link them and also state clearly my request for a home assessment with a recording of this. I find it ( generally ) easier to write rather than phone them....could I send a covering letter clarfiying this, ...1st class signed for? I've just over a week left for the original F2F appointment. I hope all that makes sense.
Thanks for the warning in your last reply...

Thank you Gordon and finally, do I have to go into great detail about requesting a home assessment as I'll be repeating what my GP says....will a concise?!! overview be sufficient?
Thanks very much for all of this.

I would actually avoid adding any additional information about why you require a home assessment least you open it up to discussion again.

Ok, so just a letter requesting one and for it to be recorded simply linking it up with the GP's & my letter asking for it to be recorded letter?will suffice?
