Do I apply for pip or just leave it was created by Mummystar
Hi..so got my letter frm pip to say apply or not...i got a indefinite award quite a a long time ago for borderline personality disorder selfharm suicide attempts etc etc...been in and out of hospital for years...my life is better as I hve my kids to think about but stil suffer frm severe depression severe aniexty on 6 different meds....i have changed but afraid of services as I was abused by a support worker in a unit so I avoid them all as I dnt hve trust anymore...i dnt knw if i shld apply for pip as I knw I always hve these conditions and very self conscious of al the scars I hve...legs arms covered..any advice..

Being pragmatic about it, what have you got to lose, providing you can manage the work involved in a PIP claim and the stress that often accompanies it.
Whatever your choice you make your DLA claim will stop, either in the short term if you do not make a claim or in the mid term if you do.

The PIP2 form is quite long and it can be very upsetting to concentrate on the things we cannot do.

Thank u...il guess I lk at it when it comes in and decide...dnt knw if i cld manage another bad week with things going wrong

Although the PIP2 form looks long and difficult, if you use the guides on this site and break it down into small parts it can be done.
If you are able to then CAB can give assistance with filling in the form
