Have you made a submission to Tribunal Service for the appeal?

If not then you have a very small window to do this, your papers need to be with the TS no later than seven days before the hearing.

Appeals are not always about new evidence, it may be that your existing testimony and evidence are more than sufficient to prove your case, but you do need to consider whether you need to address the issues raised by the assessor and DM that prevented you receiving the award you expected.

That said, PIP awards are made because the claimant has shown that they meet the criteria for one so you should also go through your PIP2, the assessment report and our PIP Claim guide to make sure that you have shown that you do in fact meet the relevant criteria. There is a sample submission in the PIP mandatory reconsideration and appeal submissions document in the PIP section.

Yes you are stating why you disagree with the Decision but it is further opportunity for you to explain why you meet the Descriptors and should score points.
