Amazingly, new "advisor" - totally different view from first so, although can only provide "hand Holder" it's still progress, esp as she was v v positive re my GP's completion of the B+W GP form. Horrifically, she said that if this had been put through with the Appeal Application, I may not have been called!! It doesn't diminish the dread but at least I don't feel as much of an fool as previously,

She's written a submission letter for me which refers to the new Government Guidelines re PIP/Epilepsy but wasn't sure whether, since this postdated my assessment, it would apply to me. However, the original UT decision was just before the assessment so does it apply?

[I'm going to stick to the earlier Appeal date, if only because health is worsening]

Alex

The UTT Decision applies to your appeal.

I've read - not sure where - that if I'm relying on a decision, I need to take 3 copies to give to the Tribunal. There's quite a lot I have to copy/print so do I have to do make copies to give to the Tribunal members or could/should I assume they know about it and will have copies?

Thanks again

No you do not need to take anything to the appeal. In your submission reference the UTT Decision and include any paragraphs that you believe are relevant to your arguments. Appeal panels will not accept printed copies of UTT Decision they are required to look them up themselves to ensure that they are looking at the correct information.

Just back from the Tribunal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had zero points from the Assessment/DM and now have Enhanced for Living and Mobility!!!
[The Judge said it was in the post but decided to wait)
I know that the DWP can appeal from this but wonder on what basis/how often they do this?so, Practically, I know, s, it could be a while before I get the cash
The award is until May 2019 - roughly the same time as my DLA was to be so am now crossing fingers until then...
BUT I'm still winding down from the shock - it'll take ages for this to sink in

Cannot thank you enough, want to/will say more in next post/shout out but first of all want to especially thank you for the "GP's Report" doc. I'm sure that this made all the difference. I'm very glad I did go to "another advisor" who believed in the form as well as me but, wow, it's an amazing document.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
