I’m beginning to think that there will not ever be a home visit offered, seems odd that a big company is not able to arrange a home visit.
How I long for the days of DLA when you received an EMP visit from a doctor. It was not a perfect system, however, it was better than what we have now.

They'll get there eventually, they won't get paid if they don't.

Getting a home visit. They are coming early in the morning. I will be in bed as my pain is worst in the morning.
Will being in bed be ok for the assessment?

Thanks

If your conditions dictate that you have to be in bed for the assessment then it will be no problem.

Best of luck

With all the horror stories about these assessments do the people carrying out these assessments look at for example, moving around,do they note if the activities can be carried out reliably, or do they just make a statement like he should be able to walk for xx metres?

Thanks

They should but it's an area that we regularly see neglected by both assessors and Decision Makers.

I’m just planning for the worst. If the Assessor and DWP fail to mention about reliably, surely the decision would be flawed. If so you could argue this at MR and appeal.

Thanks for all your help
