So I had my PIP assessment today and took in a diary extract which the HP said she would pass on to DWP. I didn't sleep a wink the night before and appointment was 9 am so was there for 8 am. She took me in early and was professional and courteous and seemed to listen. As well as going through the form and getting more detail she also went through my evidence and asked questions. I don't know what was written in her report but she seemed to type after I had spoken. The assessment only lasted about 35 minutes but that is how long she estimated and was a Mental Health Nurse.
Now we wait. Predicted outcome is the new year.

We would expect a Decision in 2-4 weeks so you may receive it before Christmas.
You can request a copy of the report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, I would give it a couple of days to make sure that the DWP have received it.

It will be on the letter that originally invited you to claim PIP.
