I have received a PIP payment of £238.50 but thought it was at appeal with HM Courts could it be another mistake? Also my ESA payment is marked as JSA but is the correct amount of ESA to which I have a letter to say my rate is starting from 8th January. What goes on I have emailed them.

It is possible that the DWP revised their original Decision before they received your appeal request.

All I can suggest is that you ring them for an update, PIP first and then ESA.

Thanks Gordon I rang them this morning after I posted that reply. About the PIP Payment according to the helpline fella he said a decision had been made in my favour but no letter had been sent to confirm which he said he would follow up so I followed up with an email.

The ESA was a manual payment but the ESA operator couldn't understand why a rate change letter had been issued as my ESA hasn't changed or my income other than DLA stopping. So that remains a puzzle have also emailed about that.

One thing that has occurred to me is to I need to advise the Tribunal Service of this situation?

You will but you need to wait for the Decision Letter before you take any action.

Received a phone call today confirming a letter has been sent regarding PIP explaining that the doctors letter sent in made all the difference. I am satisfied with daily living standard rate as I dont have to go to a tribunal and all the stress. She said there had been a delay processing the letter but it should be with me soon.
