Why shouldn't all ESA SG claimants just simply be excused from future WCA's? After all we wasn't' placed in that group for being fit were we! Furthermore I thought over a year ago, this exemption of WCA's announced that this would cease for SG. And that computer systems needed to be updated to implement this. Well if they can update this, which has taken a year or more now. Then surely all they need do implement all those as from XX.XX2016 in SG will be excempt, if they meet the now threshold. This would had saved countless ill, disabled people having to go through this process of WCA's all again.

Their sly way of clawing back money from claimant's that are then too afraid or do not have the ability to navigate all their rules which apply one month, then not the next. The people in support group that havnt been called in are safe thankfully. The rest that have wrongly been removed and placed in wrag now have to fight and not give up. At least they can not stop the reduced amount of money awarded while mandatory reconsideration s take place.

Trouble with the DWP is that no matter how ill, sick, or disabled you are. You can somehow miraculously become fit again, and all your illnesses conditions, disabilities will just have vanished. They live in a fairy tale land, unfortunately we the claimants do not. We live a life of constant fear. I'm so sorry for the claimants in SG who have been downgraded, and are now faced with MR's and appeals. I have been through both MR's and appeals, thankfully I won. The pressure and stress is just too immense. All we can do is fight our corners, which is easily said than done.:)

I received a letter on 22nd October with an appointment for an assessment next week. ( I have been on ESA 2 years). After reading this post, do I still need to go to this assessment ?

Yes, you do, or you risk having your claim closed.

No one will be excused further assessment until they have attended another assessment.

Having to do this now for my son. I printed off all PDF as it too much to read on form. Whereas I can now scribble notes on it page I read. Million times better. Was shocked that my sons assessor had used the freedom of information act to see what if any conversions either myself or my son has had regarded his ESA claim. Not only the Esa113 sent to my doctors, but also a MEDS 3. To ask his opinion on work, hours, adaption's and altered duties. Mandatory reconsideration in the making. They are determined . scored him 6 points only. Yet deamed him under special circumstances as a risk to him physical and mental recovery should he be deemed fit for work. They need to spend a day with you in your home. Then they could see the real picture. So which I had read these invaluable form's before I did his form , but was too I and I can only hope now I'm back on form that I can throw the assessors report into the wind. 35 mins assessment with a strange doctor and they dismiss and overlook vital information , telling you to shut up, as its not your assement. Shocking .
