You cannot have the assessment video'd,?

For ESA assessments, Maximus can provide audio recording equipment.

For PIP it is down to the claimant to provide the equipment.

It's funny how, whenever I fail an ESA assessment I'm always look well, well kempt and wearing clean clothes, but when I pass the assessment I'm usually looking tired and scruffy. I think it's a case of the HCP making an assessment and then seeing whatever fits the assessment. Thankfully tribunals take no notice of these silly statements in the report.

Just slightly off tangent but still basically the same subject.Say you suffer from agraphobia or social phobia and you are called to an assessment.Surely if you can attend and present a legitimate case, could it not be seen as self defeating.Depression is another illness where if you present a smart appearance and a logical case it is also self-defeating.With such mental health issues and add generalised anxiety disorder if you can present a well argued case at an assessment or appeal it is self defeating.
