Finally, after waiting for 40 weeks(!) my appeal hearing tribunal was held today and I won!
After a very stressfull 'grilling' by the Dr. on the panel, the panel overturned the DWP's decision to only award me 'standad' rate for daily living & mobilty and have awarded me 'enhanced' for both, indefinitely! My relief that this ordeal is over is unmeasurable! A massive, massive thank you to Benefits & Work and all the people involved there. Your guides were brilliant and I followed them implicity when completing forms, dealing with the mandatory reconsideration and preparing my grounds for appeal. I couldn't have done it without you so again - Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

That's terrific news, well done.

It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result. I would call the DWP at the end of the week to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

hi my reason for tribunal was because I can't leave the house and haven't for more than 2years and atos refused home visit so I was awarded nothing was on indefinite dla low mob mid care so the tribunal have overturned the decision and have specified that if a face to face needs to be done it's to be done in my home but from what my support and social worker have said because they had to represent me the judge was disgusted at the way I've been treated and they hope that it will be done without one as I have loads of evidence and medical stuff supporting my claim
