TOPIC: Best next step advice please...

Best next step advice please... 8 months 3 weeks ago #203738

I think I shall pursue that route. My Dr is already onboard & has posted out my fit note from today for 3 months ...

When ( let’s be positive ;) ) my decision is overturned I assume I should received back payments to equal out the loss to todays date, ie the date of this Fit note ?

When you said I can ask to receive ESA at the Assessement rate, do you mean literally, phone or write to them. Would they not put this n place automatically ?

Thanks for your continued advice. It truly does dispel some of the stress & enable me to refocus on the Important points

If your MR or appeal is successful then you will receive back payment of the difference between what you should have received and what you actually received.

Receiving the ESA Assessment rate is optional so you will need to contact the DWP to arrange payment, they will need to have received notice of the appeal request before they will action it.
