UC being rolled out won't have anything to do with the cancellation, you won't have to make a claim for UC unless you need to make a new claim for one of the benefits included under the UC umbrella and only then if your postcode if a full service area.

A couple of days ago I received a letter from the DWP and they said that I am still in the support group, so for now at least, I can stop worrying.
