Yes you can take a copy of your form but make sure you explain to the assessor why you are referring to it if you need to.

The PIP Claim guide has a section that covers the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.

They will of only had my form 2 weeks on Monday and I'm doing a face to face the day after on the Tuesday. Is it usually that quick? For some reason I expected it to take longer.

My husband is bugging me as well wanting to know if the people doing the face to face assessments are CRB checked and POVA up to date. Have told him makes no difference as I still have to do the interview on Tuesday and he needs to not make things difficult by asking them that question

Hells

Two weeks is about average so don't worry about it.

Well assessment done after eventually finding parking as the instructions for parking weren't up to date!!

Just wondered does the healthcare professional just submit their report and then the decision is made by someone in an office at DWP, or is healthcare professional able to put a recommendation within their report for DWP?

Now I guess the wait begins how long roughly before you hear an outcome?

The assessor makes a recommendation and a DWP Decision Maker will then make a Decision on whether an award should be made, what it should be and for how long.

You should be able to request a copy of the report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, I would give it a couple of days before you contact them.

How do I know what office is dealing with the claim? Will it be the details that were on the first letter asking me if I wanted to claim PIP
