I had F2F yesterday, The assessor was pleasant but I was exhausted after 1:5 hours. My question - How soon can I request copy of medical report? I take it you request if from Capital. I’m in N Ireland anyone on her who can give me an idea as to how long it’s taking to getting results. Thanks in advance

The request needs to go to the Social Security office dealing with your claim, however, the report will not be released until a Decision has been made although there is no legal reason why it can't be.

Decision in NI appear to be taking 3-6 weeks based on what we hear in the forum.

I wouldn't call it a medical report but the two are the same. You can request it, but other members have reported that it wont be released to you until a Decision has been made.

Hello Poppy
Just to let you know that I am in a similiar postion (NI) Requested report from dwp after HCP carried out assement , only to be told it is not their policy to release this until decision maker has made their decision.
The other way you could request copy of HCP report of your face to face assesment is Under Subject access request - you write to the dwp requesting HCP report, they have to supply this to you within 40 days of your request regardless of whether a decision has been made or not.
In my case I was afraid to make this request, in case it got their backs up and had an impact on their decision. ( i think we all get paranoid with this) Received a letter on the 7th March stating they had all the info they needed in order to make their decision. However, still waiting for decision letter.
If you wish to ask me anything else please feel free to do so.
Kind regards and good luck

A SAR is unlikely to be answered any quicker than waiting for the Decision I'm afraid.
