Were you / are you eligible for Income Related ESA?

ESA (IR) is dependant on your household income, your savings and assets, and any hours that your partner works. See

Asset and savings rule for ESA(IR)

24 hour work rule for ESA(IR)

Hiy,

No eligibility for IR topups, just the C/B ESA SG / PIP High rate, Mobility/Care
I do have a few pensions under the £85 pr week and husband works full time.

Just hoping to perhaps get some extra if it were being given to those on C/B disability.
Whereas it all seems that it is just for those on IR ( or C/B with an IR Topup)

Heres hoping

Update:
Rang the DWP and was informed that although Esther McVey made the announcement on 18th July 2018 - that permission/instructions to review and therefore backdate payments to Oct 2011 has not been filtered down to staff on the frontline to get on and process our cases as yet.
I was told that I’m on their system and that as & when staff receive said instructions from above, that I will be contacted again.

Now I’m assuming this new review should be pretty straight forward given that the ESA3 form already asked for our income details back to Oct 2011 anyway (even tho at that time they were only going to backpay us from Oct 2014).
So am hoping that it will just be a matter of a few simple calculations based on information they already have and then making the bank transfer along with a covering letter to us.
Wishful thinking? Lol.
Here’s hoping!
