JCP Offer

We have a JCP a half a mile from my home but I have to travel 10 miles away to another JCP for this meeting as I did the last time brilliant !!

Thats appalling soulboy have you brought it to their attention that you are being asked to attend a jcp 10 miles away when there is one closer? Its possible of course the nearest one doesnt provide the same services.

The word 'offer' used by the DWP in the context of work-focused interviews, is as ridiculous as referring to the work capability assessment as a 'journey'.

The word 'ordeal' would be much more appropriate!

Only Marlon Brando can make an offer you can't refuse.

We've yet to find out if these 'offers' are mandatory but I suspect the person at the DWP who came up with the idea likes the Godfather films.

Hi Derek, attended the interview today basically a quick chat how's your health etc, the only thing on offer is a phone call at some point from an employment advisor the JCP seem under pressure half the staff have been made redundant at this office so a waste of time really will report back if the advisor rings.

Thanks for the update. It seems the DWP love wasting people's time. They could have phoned you to say that an employment advisor is going to phone you, or even just let the advisor phone you in the first place!
