ATOS have cancelled my medical!

Onlookers can underestimate the severity of the stress caused by these things. My thoughts are with you.

Hi i had the same done to me cancelled but went 1 weeks later. (London) Be prepared for medical, the person didnt have my form in front of them. Didnt know what meds i took. I was asked questions, and [edit] just sat and typed, kept trying to contradict what i said. I suffer with many issues including bad asthma, on the day i went i wasnt wheezing. I had been on steroids and antibiotics week before. [edit] person said to me ohh asthma cant be that bad.

Ask questions try to catch you out with anything you say. I was in for almost 60 mins, dont know if this is good or bad.

It feel like an interrogation!

I agree with your advice about being prepared though, what's the saying - fail to prepare, prepare to fail!
I hate being at the mercy of the system though, having paid into it for 25yrs until I became too I'll to work, I find that this whole process robs you of your dignity and makes you feel like a beggar. I have only ever had 2 medicals for I.B. and on both occasions I was treated with respect and awarded the benefit, but having read some of the horror stories on here about how things are done now, it makes me very sceptical, but still optimistic!

It must be so frustrating having completed the ESA50 and most probably supplied them with additional information/evidence to find that they've not bothered to read them. I feel for you and wish you a speedy and positive result.
