do i need to do anything or just wait til i get switched over cos im reading the esa mental health guide and it says u can either phone for a form download it or call esa place with your sick note

as soon as i get the form il ring my mum and ask her to help me fill it in it cant be that hard to fill in some tick boxes and blank spaces

Hi m1983,

I have merged your post with your other thread.

If you are being migrated (transferred) over from IB, SDA, or Income Support on grounds of ill health or disability, to ESA, you don't have to do anything.

I think the passage that you are reading may be applicable to new ESA claims.

My advice in my previous post was to help give you more time, and therefore alleviate the stress of the time limit deadline given to fill in the ESA50, when you receive it.

well my idea is to get the form and look a t the guide as we are filling it in and then take it to the library and photocopy it as backup evidence

Hi m1983,

That is entirely up to you, as long as you are aware that you will only have 4 weeks to complete and return the ESA50, when you receive it.

If you read the post on the link about the interactive ESA50 that I provided, you will see that you will not have to bother photo-copying it.
