If you believe that you meet the Exceptional Circumstances criteria, then you will need to provide evidence to support this, or if you already have, restate what that evidence is.

As a general comment, there is no reason why you should not direct the Decision Makers attention to this or any descriptor that you believe you meet.

any idea what % of esa claimants actually are successful , in getting the decision changed , wrag to
support ( my case/wish ).

As far as I am aware the DWP do not provide statitsics covering this area.

And, if so , is it a frequent occurrence.? And why isn'y esa longer than 12 months.

If you look through the forum you will see that a number of members have successfully appealed from the WRAG to the Support Group.

Just to be clear, regarding ESA, it is only ESA(CB) that is being limited, and the 365 days is only relevant to time spent in the WRAG, time spent in the Support Group does not count to towards the total.

Anyone subject to the limit will be able to claim ESA(IR), providing they meet the associated means test.

status reversed to support group status.
