just wonderd if any advice filled in my esa form in march got no reply so my son phoned said they had sent my doc for report in july . in august was sent my pip form filled it in was sent for medical sept and they awarded me enhanced for both mobility and care for 3 years how can esa take so long and make your health worse while draging things out is ther anymore i can do as now i have shingles with all the added stress along with all my other health problems

I'm sorry that your ESA claim is dragging on like this. As you have discovered, there are still considerable delays in some areas!

Was August the last time anyone contacted Capita? If so, it would be worth trying again. It is unlikely that they are still awaiting a reply from your GP - but if they are you might be able to hurry things along from your end.

The other thing that sometimes helps is to get your MP on board

you wouldnt beleive me got a letter from maximus to go for a medical on 19th dec merry xmas to me . my son phoned to say i had the shingles and they said as long as im not contagious by the 19 th dec i will have to attend well hope it goes ok will keep you updated .

hi me again just a quick question the place that filled my forms for me didnt know me well, like the women that had filled my forms for years. was wondering if i should ask my gp for a letter before my assessment for esa to prove i would be unable to propel a wheelchair as they never mentioned that on my form only that i couldnt walk even up to 50 meters . what do you think.
