Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

You should only tick the 'yes' boxes if you are able to carry out the task reliably.

If you cannot prepare and cook a meal. even with aids, prompting or assistance, you should leave the boxes blank and make a note in text box, saying something like 'none of these reflect my problems, please see extra sheet x for details'. Then you need to explain why you cannot carry out the task and also why aids, prompting or assistance will not enable you to do so. The PIP guide has a list of aids that DWP will consider for each descriptor.

PIP help for claimants

May I suggest hat you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without starting a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Thank you Gordon as l have not ticked the boxes but l am now on Eating and drinking and taking nutrition as l don't want to contradict myself with cooking and preparing food and drink so what would be the wisest appropriate thing when l am asked about eating and drinking and taking nutrition in Q4A , Q4b and Q4c?

Your decision process for answering the questions should be no different than it was for the Preparing Food activity.

In more general terms, break the activities into component parts to see where there are commonalities, as an example; Preparing food, Taking Nutrition, Washing and Bathing and Dressing and Undressing all require a level of dexterity, so if you have problems with your hands then you would be expected to have some level of issue with all of these, so being consistent in your answers is really important.
