I'm afraid that is usually the procedure when someone notifies a change of circumstances.

Sorry but early in my topic it was suggested I explain briefly that my hearing had deteriorated and as I mentioned I duly sent this off this morning only to receive a complete new application to start the procedure all over again in to days post.
I have duly telephoned the DWP today and explained my position.
They were quite sympathetic and we discussed the pro and cons so they have left a note saying to look out for the letter I sent in and if the decision stays the same then I will let sleeping dogs lie.
Thanks

Latest; I sent in a new application form for C of C on 3/11/16 and completed it word for word except for the descriptor of which I'm changing and explaining why.
I now have a home visit on 12/12/16, tomorrow.
It seems to me like a complete new application otherwise it would just ask for verification of C of C.
Will let you know the outcome when I find out.
No sleep tonight

Hi Bica,

I'm afraid I would usually expect a notification of C of C to result in a complete reassessment. I hope you get the result you deserve.

Like all assessments it seemed to go well, she explained who she was and qualification as a nurse not like the last one who informed me she was not medically qualified, but had been on the assignment course.
She was with me just under the hour but took a lot of detail,
Now for the wait again!!
It makes you wonder is it worth telling them of C of C to go through this all over.
Fingers crossed and thank you for your support.

Checked my bank account online today 22/12 and noticed that an extra payment had been paid by DWP.
I was eagerly awaiting the post and when the brown envelope dropped I wasn't sure wether to open myself or let the wife open it.
YES it was worth the fight even though I had put everything on the line,I received the enhanced living component with 13 points and enhanced motabiity.untill the December 2020.
Thank you again Benifits and Work for all your encouragement and may I take this opportunity to wish you's all a Happy Christmas and the best of health for 2017.
