Receiving PIP assessment report was created by Micktj
I expected a fair decision result for PIP but got 6 points daily living and 0 points mobility. I think all is a fraud with ATOS and DWP from the top down. I applied for mandatory reconsideration but requested DWP send me assessment report first before making challenge. I just need to know how long it takes them to send me HPs assessment report. Would just love to get this ASAP before my NYHA level 2 significant Left Ventricular systolic heart failure and severe Vascular disease gets much worse. Can anyone give me any clues please.

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

The assessment report usually arrives within 10-14 days, although we do currently have members who have waited much longer.

Please don't delay submitting the Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) request if doing so would take you beyond the 1 month allowed. You don't need to give a lot of details to make the request and can tell DWP that you will send in more when you have seen the report. This should give you a further month in which to formulate your argument.

Don't forget that you will only get an award of PIP by clearly showing how/why you score points against the descriptor,. so this is where you should concentrate your time and energy. Don't get sucked into arguing against every error (assuming there are any) at the cost of showing how you qualify for PIP.

The descriptors, points and how to go about the MR are all in our PIP guide

May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one topic - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

It seems obvious that ATOS - DWP need failures so they take the first oppotunity to kick out at anyone doing application where there appears to be a lesser intellectual ability behind it. I think this applied in my case unfortunately. However I do know that after initial PIP decision was made that the ATOS Pudsey Paramedic assessor did lie in her assessment report to the DWP in stating that my Cardiac Assessment was in range when in fact it was proven not to be with the equal observations of a Consultant Professor Cardiologist (by letter) and 2 different Cardio Physiologists within a 9 day period.
