Vehicle tax

If you high mobility DLA is downgraded to pip standard,
What happens to remaining tax on vehicle does it run its course ?if it was free

And standard vehicle tax on pip do you have to reclaim it ?

In this situation, the vehicle would have to be taxed as soon as the DLA finished. Claimants getting standard rate mobility are entitled to half-price tax - but getting this seems to be something of a problem for many people as Post Offices are not set up for it!
