PIP re-assessment was created by John Mac
Hello everyone, hope I am on right place second time I have tried no idea where last message went. I have to go for a PIP re-assessment , I have myoclonic jerks which cause muscle spasms, which cause my speech to go , and my legs, arms and abdomen to jerk really badly which I take 2 lots of epilepsy tablets and some others to keep it in some sort of control. I also have copd, sleep apynia, and since last PIP assessment have developed osteoarthritis in both knees and had one completely replaced which has not helped at all so getting up from sitting and stairs kill me. I have had 3 grab rails fitted , a toilet raiser and a bed rail to help me get in and out of bed, My problem is I am petrified of facing assessment, I am hoping somebody who has been in similar position can give me a bit confidence, my wife might have to speak for me if my jerks start but she is used to doing this for me. Any help please.
