SAR request - is DWP response usually signed for?

Hi there

I'm waiting for the outcome of SAR request. I have been watching the post every morning (sent the SAR off end of September.) Today, the postman left a card saying he has something that needs to be signed for. Do the SARS usually need signed for?

I'm asking because if it is the SAR I would prefer to hoof it the long journey to the delivery office tomorrow rather than wait several days for a redelivery.

I think my SAR documents had to be signed for when I received them, although I could be wrong! I'm sure members will relate their experiences to you.
