DWP and social services?

When I asked the DWP if they share information with anyone else they said they didn't know - can anyone shed any light please? Also, is there any way to get them off her back re the ESA50 (deadline 4 days before Christmas) It surely can't be reasonable to expect her to undertake work-related activity or get a job right now. She needs to stay in support group - but without risk of causing even bigger problems. Many thanks.

She is concerned answers to DWP forms could be used to remove the child. There are no concerns about her parenting ability or family/partner support, nor have midwife/GP flagged any.

The DWP are assessing her ESA award I can't see why they would make any comment about her fitness to be a mother. If they did then I would expect it to be for reasons that would be so obvious that the persons that you mention in your post would already be concerned.
I am afraid that there is nothing you can do about the assessment process but comply, it's not an issue of it being reasonable or not, they are simply following the law and standard process.
