Do the Tribunal Service ever contact claimants and offer them an early date perhaps if the Service has a cancellation?

There is a tick box on the SSCS1 to waive the 14 days notice.

My daughter is due for her tribunal on Wednesday, after going through your material I feel as though I have let her down, and we should have got in a professional.
I am taking her there and she will be talking, will she have a chance to read out the faults in the assessor. According to that she is jumping and skipping all around the world. She has special crutches and uses a wheel chair, cannot bath or cook a meal. She did have a mobility car which has been taken away, now she can go nowhere.

The County Council and OT people have finalised having the house altered completely, does it make sense that they will spend £33.000 + on a house if she is OK.

The more I read your Guides, it makes me feel I have let her down. Help any advice please

(I am 82 and will have to lift the push chair in and out of my car and the building is not disability friendly)

Hi Aggie,

I have merged your query with one of the other topics relating to your daughter's PIP as we ask members to keep everything about the same claim in one place.

I would not expect the tribunal panel to take much/any notice of the assessment report anyway, they will be far more interested in hearing from your daughter about how her problems limit her.

I hope that the hearing goes well and the decision is the correct one.

If you have further questions or comments about your daughter's PIP, please reply to this message rather than starting a new topic and we will do our best to help. Alternatively you can click on your username (in blue when you are logged into the forum) and it will bring up a list of all your previous messages :)
