Can I call into question DWP Consultation for PIP

Its clear the DWP are trying to stitch me up at the moment. We all know they are paying no attention to whether someone is genuinely ill or not before they call them in for a DLA to PIP Consultation what with them calling in 98% of claimants now for it. I doubt they are actually even looking through the form before they call people in what with them calling in so many.

On top of that they paid no attention to my family history in calling me in not long before Christmas and they based the first appointment for Consultation also in as bad a place as they could as it was in a place where I became really ill in the past too.

Don;t want to give any more precise details incase any DWP spies are watching and they can work out who I am.

Anyway I managed to get them to cancel the first appointment for Consultation because it would have been out of order to expect me to travel through all the Christmas lights etc when because of abuse from my family I have to spend Christmases on my own and because they based it in a place where I formally became ill when the very same place was used for something else.

So they gave me a second appointment for Consultation for PIP which I have to attend,so they say,and others have to,otherwise they will cancel my PIP claim.

But they've NOW made the appointment in a place actually with the word "Physiotherapy" in the title of the place so surely that can be used to show they are just basing the assessment on physical problems, and as we know that ATOS, who I have to see, mainly use Physiotherapists, even using a place with "Physiotherapy" in the name, surely can be used to say,you are just basing things on physical reasons and what the heck would they know about Mental Health problems, and how could they do a fair assessment

before they so called "advise" the DWP decision maker what to do.

The second place they've given me too, apart, from being a place named "Physiotherapy" it also is bang next door to a place where I tried to commit suicide in public,a dew months ago, which they should know all about if they ve read my form.

I also did as full a form and additional sheets as possible after a lot of advice from CAB plus my friend that took me about 3 times as long to fill as most people, tons of evidence, and lots of professionals listed who are heads of department which I listed in their job titles how senior they were inb their fields that are far more qualified than them which they haven t made any attempt to get in touch with I don't think, nor even looked through the form at all,I don t think.

So do I have to attend a Second Consultation appointee they ve offered me after the first one was cancelled when this second appointment they ve told me I must come to is next next door to where I tried to commit suicide just a few months ago ?

Surely, that;s unfair, and how could they expect me to concentrate.

Also are Health Professionals carrying out these Consultations for PIP for ATOS still being given bonuses for every person they pass fit like they were befoer ATOS was sacked before then alter getting the Contract back by lying about how many centres they would use ?

Please answer all the points I put above and surely some of that can be used to say they haven;t looked through things that were mentioned on my form and arent being fair about 1.The locations they are offering me the appointments to be in and surely I cant be expected to attend an appointment next door to where I tried to commit suicide just a few months ago,so surely should be possible to throw out the second offer of an appointment too without having my claim denied automatically because of it or just throw the whole satiation of me having to go to a Consultation for my PIP at all until they ve bloody well looked through my form and all the additional sheets and pick up on these points within them that they should have to not give me the appointment in the location they have.

Alps I've tried to a CAB advisor to come with me but because of cut backs they said they cant,my only friend darent come, and I'm wondering if its possible to get a Legal aid Solicitor with a decent heart who might come with me to witness what is going on. Because of these things I've said above Im pretty sure their intention is to just put pressure on me and for me to crack and make a mes of my case and it'll be particularly hard doing it on my own. But for the reasons I've said above I don't see how in any way this can be called a fair assessment with taking into account reasonable adjustments for my Mental Health disability.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

If this is the second appointment and you re-arranged the first then I am afraid you have no choice but to attend, failing to do so will result in your file being returned to the DWP for failing to attend and there is a good chance that your claim will be closed as a result.

Both Capita and ATOS rent space in suitable venues so that they can provide assessments, just because the is a physiotherapist does not mean that the person assessing you will be one although it is a possibility.

I'm afraid you have posted late in the day, this is our last session on the forum until the New Year.
