DLA to PIP....... Disaster!

I am going through the descriptors information, a little stuck on how to word some of it. Do I comment on the relevant assessors desciptors pages that I cannot do them safely or reliably or what is relevant to each one, .. I did put in my info I could not cook hot food as it was not safe for me to do and in this case I cannot do this on any day, I can prepare veg sat down but cannot cook food and she ticked the first descriptor which is incorrect Thank you

Follow the formula that is included in the guide for each activity and if any of the information was missing from your PIP2 add it in to your reply.
So taking your post as it is written, you say that you can cook hot food, but do not explain why this is the case and why supervision would not allow you to do this either.

Thank you, I cannot cook hot food as my my leg gives way and I fall over. So I add the reasons even through they are already written in my PP2 form?

You can but you must consider aids or prompting, assistance or supervision that would allow you to still complete the activity and If they would not explain why this is the case. So again taking your post as written, could you not use a perching stool so that even if your leg did give way you were still supported.

my leg does not give way when I am sat only walking, not sure about a perching stool and HP never mentioned one will have to think about this one. TY

The DWP will assume the use of suitable aids or appliances wherever they can, if you are not able to use an aid or it would not help you complete an activity then you need to explain why this is the case. There is a list of relevant aids for most of the activities in the PIP Claim guide.
