hi stuart send everything in that will help the cause. See if your physciatrist can write a letter of support for you to send with your forms and ask your doctor if he would write a letter supporting a home visit for you as that might make it easier than visiting an assessment centre. Also would anyone be able to sit with you if you have a face to face assessment. Also i would look at the guides on this site and try to follow the guides on mental health and anything you are not sure you can ask a moderator. I would advise doing a little bit of the form each day whist looking at the guides for mental health. When my husband did my sons forms he did about an hour a day as any more than this can exhaust you.It is scary but dont panic at the end of the day do the forms as best as you can and send with it as much information as you can and if you are running behind the deadline phone the DWP and ask for an extention . The mods on here are brilliant so ask anything and they will try to help .and i will if needed .Take care.

Hi Stuart
Of course you should make use of a trained advisor if possible. I cannot imagine how your condition affects your every day life and nor can any stranger that does not have or know about it. Anyone with a long term condition finds ways to get by. Trying to explain to someone who who doesn't know you all the little things that impact on your life, as well as the big things can be hard. If you can manage to take the self test that might give you some indication of things that you need to say, especially the hard things. The mods on here are very knowledgeable and they care, I am sure they will help in any way they can. I wish you well for the best future you can have.
