Tribunal and assessment was created by Sam
How do I know if I have been scored for both mobility and disability? I got a 4/10 score and need to convince a tribunal that is more than unrealistic. But I need both benefits and am not sure but according to a letter it was recommended 8 points for daily living and 4 for mobility. I asked to go to a tribunal. My brother spoke to a lady at DWP she offered me 50.00 backdated to August and ongoing but didn't say what it was for. I am getting nothing and have had nothing since August. I have around 400.00 in my bank and have used up my savings. This lady also wrote on the form that she opposed my appeal and would ask the tribunal to dismiss the appeal and confirm the secretary of states decision! They changed the venue with no explanation making it harder for me. My brother who is helping me is not back from work n Europe until month end. I am trying desperately to speak to someone but the earliest I can do this is month end. Why can I not get a phone number for a local CAB as this call centre is totally useless. Because I have requested this appeal for mobility I have voided my money for daily living so how do I get that back? Am on my own. Can't take much more of this. Thank you

Hi Sam,

I will do my best to reply, but I am confused by parts of your message.

You ask how you know whether you have been 'scored' for both daily living and mobility - then you say you scored 8 points for daily living and 4 for mobility.

Am I right in thinking that the daily living component was removed at Mandatory Reconsideration?

If you were offered £50 (per week, I assume) were you told what this was for? Was this offer put in writing? From the way you are talking I gather that you refused this offer? If that is the case, you will not receive any PIP payments until/unless a decision is made in your favour.

I cannot comment about your problems accessing CAB as we are not connected to that organisation in any way.

If you have further comments, or I am wrong in m,y assumptions, please reply to this message - rather than starting a new topic - and we will do our best to help. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it on your web browser now :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
