Recording Medical Assessment -

As you know I received my big 'no' for mand recon, it was when I went to put this in my file (was going hang on a nail in the toilet) that I found my two copies of a request to have my medical recorded - I only sent the esa50 back yesterday. I think I was to incensed to be thinking straight. My question is, does the request have to go in at the same time as esa50? or as I am hoping can be forwarded after. Your advise is invaluable, many thanks.

No it can be sent separately, you will need to chase it up at least a week before the appointment.

My assessment was on 20th January 2017 I arrived for the assessment with my son and when I was called I said to the assessor are you aware that the assessment is to be recorded she replied NO.. .. she asked to bare with her while she went off to check, she soon came back and said she us really sorry but there was not record on their system to say even asked for it yo be recorded, I burst into tears, my son relied you have got to be kidding twice my mother requested for the assessment to be recorded. I had a choice of going hone and rebooking the assessment or carry on with no recoding. ..I was so upset we decided to have the assessment as I was there and I just wanted it to be over, I got home and put a formal complaint, I was told that I did everything corectly Twice so now they will investigate what went wrong.
Still dud not help my face to face assessment though. i my brown envelope arrived yesterday u gave been awarded enhanced rate mobility and standard care for 5 years.
I was on high rate for both before , I am going to ask for a mandatory reconsideration for two of the daily living activities and will have to wait and see, the amount of stress of these pip assessments is outrageous we all have health issues and disabilities and this is severely affecting our health. Non of us asked to be disabled I would imagine like me we all would like to be healthy.

I'm afraid that it is up to the claimant to provide the equipment for recording PIP assessments, the assessment [providers do not do this (unlike ESA).

I brought my own recording equipment and took that along to my pip assessment. But they wouldn't allow me to record, as there centre I attended hadn't been notified.
Upon checking after my pip assessment with atos they can clearly see I requested it twice.
It was never filtered from atos to the centre
So £50 later for recording equipment.
I have lodge a formal complaint but now it's my word againt there's.
