ESA work related group

ESA work related group was created by blue90
I've be on ESA work related group for about 5 years , however my health conditions have deteriorated and Jc advisor told me to ring Jc as she thinks I should be in the support group,I've rang Jc to tell them Thes been a chance in my health conditions and they told me to write to Jc asking for a mandatory consideration, I don't know where to start , any help would be appreciated

I really wish the DWP would train their staff better.

First you need to see whether you meet the criteria for the Support Group, just like the WRAG you need to meet specific criteria to be placed in the group, if you can't show this then you are wasting your time asking them to look at your clam. Have a look at the ESA Claim guides for the SG Descriptors.

Secondly, it won't be a Mandatory Reconsideration. You can't ask for an MR if your conditions have change!

Also long as you think that you can show that you qualify for the SG then all you have to do is to write to the DWP office that deals with your ESA claim, informing them that your conditions have deteriorated and that you are asking for your claim to be reassessed.

Be aware that this will be a full reassessment of your claim, new ESA50 and almost certainly a face to face assessment.
