fuming and confused was created by val
im so angry and upset I don't know what to do or who to talk to. I had my ftf for pip on 24th jan. ive rung dwp to ask for my interview report on several occasions and each time theve said theve still not got the report back yet. Saturday I got a letter from pip asking for my original birth cert so they can proceed with my pip claim. today I rang dwp again to see if they had the report back yet, they said no and that it was unusual why they hadn't and also they didn't know why I had to send the birth cert back. I then rang capita who did my report and they dropped the bombshell that I would have to have ANOTHER medical !!!!! because they didn't have enough imformation but they didn't know why, my interview was for overe 2 hours, ive sent them all my letters from mental health and doctors and medication copys. capital couldn't tell me when I would have my next medical or why I had to send my birth cert either. I feel like I'm going mad because neither dwp or capita know anything and I don't know who to speak to.

Unfortunately, until the DWP receive an assessment report from Capita your claim cannot progress.
I would make a formal complaint to Capita, it may give you leverage to push for a home assessment.

and I would involve your MP

It's unusual, in fact very rare, my best guess is that either the report was incomplete or it failed audit and was considered unfit for purpose. I'm afraid your claim cannot progress until Capita submit a complete assessment report to the DWP, so you really have no choice but to attend, but as I said previously you do now have leverage on them to push for a home assessment.

Making the complaint now gives you leverage that you will not have after the f2f is done, but I want to emphasise that these have to be your decisions as to whether you pursue them.
