PIP help with Question 14 Moving Around

Hi I am completing my very first application for PIP never claimed anything previously and I'm really struggling with Q14 Moving Around. I have arthritis in right knee and lower spine, arthritis & bursitis in left hip, sciatica & reduced feeling in left leg, I also suffer with fibromyalgia & fatigue. Although I am able to walk it is not without pain. The level of pain varies day to day. On my worse day I struggle to get up or down stairs due to severe pain. I find it difficult to walk on uneven ground but believe the question is only concerned with walking on even, flat ground. Do I state I can walk 220 metres even though I'm in pain or do I put the minimum distance I can walk before pain kicks in?

You are not required to complete any of the activities without pain, but any pain that limits the distance you can walk should be taken into account.

If you can reasonably describe the pain as severe then you can argue that your walking is not to a necessary standard.

If the distance that you can walk varies then you need to describe what you can walk at your worst, your best and for the majority of the time. For each you need to explain the times that you are affected in that way and your walking variable.

Also, have a look at the use or "reliably" in the PIP Claim guide, the time it takes you to walk, your speed of walking and whether you can repeat the distance may also be things that are considered.
