PIP re- assessment was created by AlexG
Hi,

Just a short question. What is the average time scale for the PiP re-application form to come back from the DWP with a decision?
I have been on low care and the high mobility parts of PIP
I have just had my ESA medical October 2016 and wait and see they will have me in for the Pip medical again!!!!!

Thanks

We would expect you to hear in 2-4 weeks about any assessment with an appointment some 2-3 weeks later, a Decision will probably be another 204 weeks later.

Hi Gordon,

I sent the former away about 8 weeks ago, it was recorded and they did receive.
My PIP is not due to run out until 2018. I supplied all the relivent information and my doctor gave me the previous 2 years information.

So I'm wondering why so long?

Regards

P

Hi Gordon,

Well it's been a lot longer than the 2-4 weeks regarding any assessment. So I. Not sure what's going on.
I am on PIP till 2018 and I thought since its 9 months away they are just taking longer.
Any advice on what to do would be great. I hope you don't say call them as I'm not good on talking on the phone as I get so dry in the mouth and unable to hold a conversation.

Should I juat leave it and wait? I don't think I could call them.

Kind Regards

P

You could try emailing the Assessment Provider, it will be ATOS or Capita, depending on your postcode
