confused. failed medical for esa. mandatory reconsideration turned down. got paid as if in support group last week. rang up said there mistake I have been accepted on assessment rate on new claim as I have a new condition and I'm worse. I need to lodge appeal for previous Blair I don't know whether I'm coming or going. esa didn't know when I rang and I needed a call back to say I'm confused is an understatement

Do you intend to appeal the first claim?

I'm sorry to be officious about this, but it really doesn't help if you post your reply in a completely different topic, just hit the reply button.

You said you have made a new claim in your original post, this would seem to be the reason why you are being paid the ESA Assessment rate.

If your MR has been turned down then your only option for pursuing the matter is to request an appeal.

I know that you have been told that the Decision was being revised in your favour, but the fact that you have received a letter to the contrary means that the DM did not honour their commitment to change it.
