Back in September I had my PIP reassessed and consequently it was withdrawn (from having 12 points in 2015 it went down to 0 ??) I appealed but no joy. However, not only did I lose my PIP, my husband also lost his Carer's Allowance and additional Pension Credit for being my carer. We ended up losing £465.00 per month altogether! Our only income now is his state pension, his much reduced pension credit and the Carer's Allowance I claim for looking after him. (We get housing benefit and council tax benefit). We have been told we are not entitled to anything else. Is this right? He is 74 and I am 62 and we are really struggling!

You can also make a new claim for PIP, there is no waiting period for you to do this. If you do then have a read of our PIP Claim guide to make sure you understand the criteria against which you are being assessed.
