My partner wishes to move in with me, l get enhanced care pip and mobility Thanks to the wonderful information on this site, so a big thank you Ok l also am in the ESA support group. My partner works 20 hours a week but can work more. My question is if he moves in should l cliam carers allows and drop the Esa claim as the eas process stress me out Can you help. If not l understand thank you

You need to get face to face advice before making any Decisions to understand how your benefits will be affected by your living together.

Do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.

Unless you partner has a qualifying benefit themselves, which you do not mention, you cannot claim Carers Allowance against your own awards.
