Pathway To Work Interview was created by wordy
Hi
Today I received a letter from Jobcentre Plus to attend a Pathway To Work Interview. Three weeks ago I attended the ESA Medical (I have not received the result from this yet), but this did not include the Work Focused Health Related Assessment(WFHRA).
Could anybody tell me if the Pathway to Work Interview is the WFHRA or is it the 2nd of 6 interviews I must attend even though I have not actually attended the 1st one yet!

This Pathway To Work Interview I have to attend is at a different location/town to where I had my ESA Medical and is with a Personal Advisor.

Many thanks for your help, wordy

Hi wordy

Pathways to Work interviews (also called work-focussed interviews) are seperate from the Work-focussed Health Related Assessment so you will not have the WFHRA at any Pathways interview. The WFHRA is part of the Work Capability Assessment, often just called the medical, although the WFHRA tends to be held on a seperate day, as in your case. For further information on Pathways interviews please see our guide on this by clicking www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/work and then on the page that comes up click on the link with the following title:

Knowing your rights at Pathways to Work Interviews

Hope the above helps but please post back if we can help any further. Good luck for the result of your medical.

All the best

Mr B :)
