DLA Consultant was created by LS
Hi All, I've just received a letter from the DWP stating (yet again) that they are unable to give a decision on my claim for DLA as they have requested a report from my Consultant!
Is this normal procedure in these cases?
Or are they getting ready to give me the spanish archer?
This is my first time of applying for DLA whilst being a member of B&W!
I applied about four years ago and got given the bums rush! That was when I had problems with one leg and breathng and walking.
I realise now that I should have appealed the decision then!

If anyone has any info on this subject, please help?
Thanks ,

Len.

they could have said no without extra evidance .. so the fact they are asking for more means you have got them thinking, now the answer could well be no, but its not been yet which is better than last time :)

Whilst it is unusual, it is perfectly reasonable for the DWP to seek further evidence.

It is probably a god sign as they don;t seem to need much excuse to say "no" to a new benefit request these days.
