The amounts by which benefits will rise in April 2007 have now been announced.

Long-term incapacity benefit will rise from £78.50 to £81.35 per week.

For Disability Living Allowance, the increases are as follows:

Care component
Highest from £62.25 to 64.50
Middle from £41.65 to £43.15
Lowest from £16.50 to £17.10

Mobility component
Higher from £43.45 to £45.00
Lower from £16.50 to £17.10
