Hi I've got a appointment on Tuesday with the citizens advice department to help with my first pip form . And I doing the right thing or not . I've found my dla form from 2001 but even though everything is the same but a lot worse and getting worse. I got a letter today Saturday and at first I thought it was to say I was still on my dla thought they just changed it over from my dla to pip. But it wasn't it was just to say about changes to Mty old dla was staying indefinitely.

We would usually say that getting face to face advice from a trained advisor is a good thing, but remember this is your claim and only you profit or lose by the result. so if there are things that the advisor says that you don't understand or like, then ask.

Can I ask if you informed DWP of changes that your condition got worse ? They always seem to be asking me to inform them if there are changes in my condition.

Hi I've messaged before re dla changing to pip. I got help from my local cab centre filling my form in changing from dla indefinitely to pip. I had to send the form off before 28th February. We filled the form in added letters etc . But today I've received a letter saying I need to go to see them at a local medical centre . I'm waiting for a big operation , been on dla since early 2001 or earlier. Had many operations due to discs coming out and had plates and rods fitted, I'm now waiting for a nerve root stimulator to befitted but only a 20/30%success rate. I'm worried why I have to go. I've also recently had to fill my forms in for esa but that's carried on . I'm not good on my feet . Help:(

The vast majority of PIP claimants have to have a face assessment.
