Hi I always advise people to join B+W but obviously some people for whatever reason cant afford it, I then advise the usual to go to Welfare Rights, C.A.B etc the problem I have is someone has just informed me they phoned the Welfare Rights today and were told they can only help them fill in a (DLA to PIP) transfer Form if they are "REGISTERED" with them, anyone know anything about this, when it came into being and how and where do you go about Registering with them if this is indeed the case. or is this Information wrong? its what the Welfare Rights told the person who phoned up for help, if it is wrong can she complain.and who does she complain to. Thanks

It's just a form of Triage, since the Government removed almost all of the options for Legal Aid, the CAN and similar have had severe resource problems and need to make sure they use the people they do still have as efficiently as they can.
