Hello.

I'm on DLA Higher rate mobility and care.

I also receive ESA (was incapacity). I followed the guide on here, but I have still been called in for an assessment.
I was surprised to be called in. I very recent;y lost my partner of 28 years and have had a complete emotional breakdown. I included evidence of my mental state (suicidal), but I'm in for an assessment and the worry isn't doing me any good.

That aside.........

Would anyone be kind enough to link me to any guides that might help with my assessment (I'm a paid member on here, but I think my mind is all over the place and I can't find anything), please?

Also any advice would be greatly welcomed.

You can access the guides by following the Members Only Guides link on the left of the page and up.

The following is a direct link to the ESA guides.

Thank you Gordon.

I'm still a bit confused.

I'm sure the other day that I saw a guide that stated that it had everything to expect from a face to face assessment. Including what the assessor has on their screen, etc. Is that in the guide?

In truth, I could have dreamed about that, it's all I'm thinking of right now.

There are two places for this, the PIP Claim guide has a section about the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked, there is also a guide to the software used by assessors to report the assessment, just scroll down in the PIP section.
