Pip apeal after Mr failed was created by Jannym
Hello,, my MR letter dated may 8th, I need to go to apeal, am I too late?
I can't find the form needed.
Anxious, not coping.
Do I need to give all possible info on this form, don't have enough time to get it all sorted.
My dr said they don't write letters for patients! Only copies of other exam, apps records. I DONT HAVE ANY MORE TO PUT IN. I don't see anyone professional other than dr. All I have is a new letter from speech therapy.

The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the Submissions guide has a complete example that you can use to help you fill it in, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.
Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.

What about the timescale. .its nearly a month since they sent me the Mr refusal. .isn't it too late to appeal

You can still make what is called a Late Appeal, there is a section on SSCS1 to explain why you did not appeal within the normal one month from the date of the MR Letter.
